Meet joel
Joel is a Little Rock-based mural painter whose work can be found across communities throughout Arkansas and beyond. His murals are created with a strong sense of place, often incorporating local history, stories, and cultural details to create artwork that feels uniquely connected to each community. His journey as a muralist began in his hometown of Rector, Arkansas, where he painted his first large-scale mural, Historic Downtown Rector, sparking a love for public art that grew into a full-time career. Today, Joel works with cities, businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations to transform ordinary walls into meaningful works of art. He believes the best murals do more than make a space beautiful—they invite people to stop, connect, remember, and feel a greater sense of pride in the place they call home.
I am passionate about the power of public art to transform spaces and connect communities. Murals are more than just beautification—they are opportunities to inspire, educate, and foster pride. I collaborate with local organizations, businesses, and officials to revitalize neglected spaces through meaningful, lasting art.
